This new divide

So, this happened:

Tonight we're having a BBQ until it gets dark and then watching the first Transformers outside on a projector at my roommate's parent's yard. Then we'll top off the evening with a 12:15 trip to the theater for Transformers 2. Guaranteed good time.

Which, if you think about it, is really funny. I still can't stop laughing about it.

This morning my roommate woke me up so I could help her jump her car.

I made a dirty joke and then asked her what day of the week it was.

I don't have many words to share today but I do have some interesting things I've seen today.

Some people are scared to see what's happening frequently

Since before I moved in we've been having some problems with a small leak in our kitchen ceiling. Well, on Thursday afternoon the leak got a lot bigger and our apartment management finally decided it might be time to do something about it. Friday the plumber came. This is what our ceiling looked like before I ran errands.


Please note the location of the dishwasher.


This is what the ceiling/kitchen looked like after I ran errands. And what it continues to look like. Note the former location of the dishwasher and how there is no longer a wall there. Luckily we did that sink full of dishes before they took out the dishwasher. And by we I mean Chala did them and I read her hilarious restaurant reviews while she worked.
