Sleeping to dream about you and I'm so tired.

After not really having dreams that I've been able to remember for a while, I've had two very vivid dreams this past week.

On Thursday night I had a dream that I was pregnant. In my dream, as hard as I tried, I could not remember who the father was and I was very distressed about not remembering. People kept asking who the father was and were very mean to me when I couldn't tell them. The dream was so vivid that when I woke up I questioned if I really was pregnant. Which is odd since, well, that's impossible.

On Friday night I had a dream that I was in a car accident. It was snowing very hard and the snow had come very suddenly. My car was spinning and there were a lot of cars around me that I kept hitting but my car would not stop spinning.

I don't even want to analyze what they mean since it's probably something about my life being out of control. I just want to go back to having dreams about meeting the Foo Fighters at the library.

Any way you want it, thats the way you need it, any way you want it

Yesterday at work:

I'm in the laundry room while several girls switched their linens. One girl, who everyone else needed to move her things before they could move theirs, was not actually moving her linens but talking instead.

So I said: I NEED ACTION!

There was a long pause where everyone looked at me...

And then they all burst into laughter.

I don't mind being the butt of the joke. It's moments like that one that make other moments like this more manageable:

Jodi: Would you like a cookie?
Girl: I hate you.
Jodi: Okay.

I really do love my job.

I see the questions in your eyes, I know what's weighing on your mind

Tonight I should be in West Wendover. Too bad I waited until these were the only tickets left.

Seriously, $441?

Apparently I never posted it but going to their concert last summer was one of the highlights of the summer.

Next time.

Shiny and contoured the railway winds

Apparently the new theme of my blog is "Awkward Pictures of Erica and Jodi". That shouldn't shock anyone. This week we decided to support our ward friends at their soccer game the best way we knew how: orange slices, Capri Suns, and fruit snacks. I might have enjoyed them more than any of the players.

My favorite part of the evening was at the grocery store when I told the checker that we were part of the "mom club." I was trying to say we were soccer moms but that phrase wouldn't come and I made something else up.

Or maybe it was when the son of one of our players kept yelling "go daddy!" even when his dad was just stretching on the sidelines. It's good to have support at all times I suppose.

Ashley soothed our spirits after the loss by making margaritas and Shirley Temples. Mmm.

Lately I'm not dreaming so what's the point in sleeping?

Just had the following conversation with a 1st Grader.

Taylor: Do you have any kids?
Me: Nope!
Taylor: Why not?
Me: Well... I don't have a husband.
Taylor: Did you get divorced?
Me: Nope, I just don't have one.

Then she called me Jodi-pa-podi.
Good times.

For the locals...

BYU Lu'au tickets go on sale today!

I have a small solo that should be plenty embarrassing.

I wear a new cologne and you wouldn't know me If your eyes were closed

It turns out that the party supply store has some high quality eye wear. Just FYI.
