The drive thru line looked long enough to make a grown man cry but it only took 12 minutes.
Mallory Grover, I will never be able to thank you enough for introducing me to the Neapolitan shake.

These are my confessions...
It's about time for some more work quotes wouldn't you say?
Girl: You're a MEANIE! (complete with folded arms and lower lip pout) (oh, and co-workers, this wasn't the blond you might suspect)
Girl: Do you have gray hair?
Me: I...
Girl: You DO! Look right here!
Me: Thanks?
And this gem, which was my favorite:
(After confiscating her shampoo/conditioner the second time in the same shift because they were left out...)
Me: Where is your body wash???
Girl: I don't have any body wash!
Me: Well, what do you use to wash your body?
Girl: I don't wash my body!

Do you watch The Singing Bee on CMT? I do. Not because I in anyway like watching what is essentially bad karaoke but because I like listening to this guy:

Bruised not broken
This resonated with me:
"The wager with the highest stakes of all is with our hearts. Here is where we must accept risk, sometimes a lot of it, in order to win. In no other activity do we expect to be skilled from the outset. Everyone accepts the idea of a learning curve accompanied by sometimes-painful mistakes before we become adept. No one would expect to become good at skiing without falling down. And yet many people are surprised at the hurt that routinely accompanies our efforts to find someone worthy of our love.
To take the risks necessary to achieve this goal is an act of courage. To refuse to take them, to protect our hearts against all loss, is an act of despair." — Gordon Livingston

Halloween. Part 2 of 3
Work party! I wish you could see my girls, they were very good. Good meaning some were very cute, some were very funny and some were very...interesting. But you cannot see them. You can see my co-workers, some who tried very hard to have the best costumes.
No one could top our costumes though.
Three awesome Oompa Loompas with one crazy Willy Wonka.
Good job team!

Halloween. Part 1 of 3
Since our kitchen walls were bare my roommates and I decided to take some creepy pictures to use for Halloween decor. Our friend Emily did all of our crazy hair and makeup and another friend took the pictures. We took many, many pictures and ended up with a few acceptable ones:
And also had some funny outtakes:
